Project Manuscript melds typography skills with web development, employing HTML/CSS. I showcased my abilities in text hierarchy and layout design through my work with Don Norman's article "I Wrote The Book on User-friendly Design. What I See Today Horrifies Me" (2019), leveraging basic HTML/CSS to enhance typographic clarity and readability.
Project Spread, a collaborative effort with Vicky Chen, focuses on creating a responsive text design that adapts seamlessly across various devices. We worked on "Everyday Color Theory" (2020) by Google Design, striving to achieve a design that harmonizes with the article's content and theme. Special thanks to Vicky for her exceptional guidance throughout our project.
Project Binding developes a digital 'book' titled Design Manifesto, compiling a selection of texts into a cohesive website that reflects my curatorial insights and design acumen. The texts, echoing the Bauhaus style, included contributions from Silvio Lorusso, Don Norman, and Natasha Iskander, each reinforcing the thematic tone set by the collection.
Project Links involves collaborating to create an interactive interface for an Are.na channel named 'Seraphim,' curated by my teammate Sarah Saroufim. Utilizing Javascript and the Are.na API, I designed and built a platform that facilitated dynamic interaction with the diverse media collection. Special thanks to Sarah for her exceptional curatorial work.
Project Functions, my final capstone project for T&I @Parsons MPSCD, tackles a real-world issue by creating an interactive quiz platform focused on South Korea. This web-based solution allows users to explore and learn about my home country in a fun and engaging way, blending design, development, and educational insights into a comprehensive user experience.
